Sol Pedro York
A self-taught musician, Sol (formerly Pete York) discovered his love for music as a teenager, teaching himself guitar and bass. Guided by an innate curiosity and a deep passion for sound, he left London for Brighton in search of creative direction—following his heart wherever it led.
That journey unfolded in extraordinary ways. Sol quickly made a name for himself as a lead singer and bass player, collaborating with Fatboy Slim, writing and producing music, and touring extensively. These whirlwind years in the music industry were rich with excitement and creative fire—but they also planted the seeds of something deeper.
As Sol’s path evolved, he felt called to share his love of music more intentionally, teaching guitar in primary and secondary schools across London. In doing so, he discovered a deep joy in inspiring the next generation to explore their own creative potential.
In 2016, Sol embarked on a new chapter, training as a Kundalini yoga teacher at the Karam Kriya School in Chelsea. This transformative practice offered profound insights and tools for healing and self-discovery. Experiencing firsthand the life-changing power of Kundalini yoga, Sol knew instinctively that sharing this practice would become central to his life’s work. He began leading weekly classes on a floating yoga studio on the River Thames, blending his love of sound and spirituality.
Sol’s journey then took him to India, where he taught music in local schools and led Kundalini yoga classes at Bamboo Yoga, a well-known retreat on the southern coast of Patnem. It was there that he also discovered a passion for DJing—adding yet another layer to his creative expression. Upon returning to England, he reconnected with Fatboy Slim, supporting him on a UK tour that culminated in a sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena before a crowd of 20,000.
Today, Sol continues to perform professionally as the bass player for the Dub Pistols, energizing stages across the UK and Europe.
Through it all, Sol has lived a heart-led life, continually stepping into the unknown with courage and authenticity. Though his path has been unconventional, it has always been guided by an inner truth. With the fluidity of water, he embraces both challenge and opportunity, embodying a grounded, heart-centered way of being.
A Space 2 Breathe is the culmination of everything Sol has discovered on his journey: the healing power of sound, the art of connection and teaching, and the joy of living life fully and authentically. Through his work, Sol invites others to reconnect with their hearts, embrace life’s abundance, and explore their potential with passion, presence, and possibility.
Neleh-Etana Rose
Neleh’s love for singing and storytelling began in childhood, eventually leading her to drama school and a career in the performing arts. After many years of living and working in London, she moved to Surrey to begin a new chapter — raising her two children and reconnecting with a slower, more intentional way of living.
The past seven years have been a time of profound challenge and transformation. Recovering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome has reshaped Neleh’s relationship with herself, her body, and the pace of life. Through deep detoxing, careful listening, and learning how to truly support her energy, she has shifted the balance and turned her life around. This process has revealed a quieter strength and a clearer understanding of what truly nourishes her — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
These lived experiences now inform every aspect of her work. Neleh’s lifelong love of singing has evolved into a passion for sound as a healing tool. As a certified Sound Healing Practitioner, she offers one-to-one sessions and small group experiences that support balance, clarity, and inner calm.
Together with her partner Sol, Neleh has created A Space 2 Breathe — a nurturing environment where people can explore healing in their own time and in their own way. She brings a kind, steady presence, not as someone with all the answers, but as someone who has walked through difficulty, learned from it, and continues to move forward with compassion and curiosity.
Through sound, simplicity, and self-awareness, Neleh invites you to find your own rhythm — and to honour the truth of where you are.
